Greetings all! I hope summer is going well. Please join us for the Annual Meeting on Thursday, August 11th from 6pm-7:30pm At Char Houska's house: 41 Marilyn Drive (off 3rd St down the road from Caras Nursery). Please attend if you can. I've yet to attend a boring WHAM meeting, and I'm sure this will be no different! We will have food and beverages.
Important: We will vote for the new slate of board members, the list is attached. We will also discuss the balance sheet, and a possible bump in what we pay the refs. See below agenda for the general outline.
BRING A CAMP CHAIR.
WE ARE RAFFLING OFF A KINDLE FIRE. The Fire was purchased for $49 with the intention of using it for our merchandise but it does not work with Square and has proven ineffective. Therefore, we are giving it away. Must be present to enter and/or win.
This is a good time for you to actively participate in WHAM decisions and give the board important feedback-we hope you can make it!!
Get ready for summer! The cinch sacks can carry just enough to get you through a great hike or bike, the trucker hats will keep the sun out of your eyes and the tank tops will let you show off your guns.
If you don't see a color you like, you can always order special colors, (if you only outfit yourself in purple and puce for example).
Go to the WHAM retail page for colors and prices and contact Sarah Theimer any time day or night for your order!

Summer is in full swing! Do you have your gear? You can, when you purchase one of these WHAM-tastic new Tank Tops! See WHAM Store for full chart of options. Trucker hats, etc are going to keep you in style!
Hunter Green Blanket, Sara not included either!
”Last season we couldn't win at home and we were losing on the road. My failure was that I couldn't think of any place else to play.” - Harry Neale
No upcoming events found.
”Goaltending is a normal job, sure. How would you like it in your job if every time you made a small mistake, a red light went on over your desk and 15,000 people stood up and yelled at you.” - Jacques Plante
If you have used equipment you don't need, consider donating to the new WHAM loan closet! Our hopes is it will be used by players who come to the rink and find out they forgot their shin guards for example. Also for new players who would either like to try hockey out without the huge purchasing commitment, or who would like to work things in as their budget allows.
If you have items you'd like to donate, let any board member know. We have a box marked WHAM behind the scorekeeper box at the rink.
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing; that's why we recommend it daily. -Zig Ziglar
