League Information

WHAM runs two leagues each fall and spring (Women's Rec & Co-Rec) and a Women's Winter Recreational League (inlcudes end of the season tournament).

WHAM Winter Women's Recreational League

This program is designed for women of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.  WHAM Winter Rec is a great way to get to know other women hockey players.  WHAM will strive to build teams that are roughly equal in their mix of skill levels.  The goal is to have fun and improve hockey skills in a supportive team environment.  Teams and game schedules will be determined after registration. Team jerseys will be provided and must be returned at the end of the season.

The season consists of a week of pre-game activities (kickoff party and pickup games), 12 weeks of league games, and three weeks of league tournament. You will play one game each week, on Friday night.

WHAM Women's Rec: Fall & Spring

This program is designed for women of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Each player will be assigned to a pod of 5-6 women that will be combined weekly with another pod of 5-6 women. Each pod will play with and against the other pods through the season making this league a great way to get to know other players. WHAM will strive to build teams that are roughly equal in their mix of skill levels. Teams and game schedules will be determined after registration and posted on the WHAM website.

Each player will need a white jersey and a dark jersey.

This league is limited to 48 players.

WHAM Co-Rec: Fall & Spring

This program is designed for women and men of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and it is intended to be a relaxed, recreational league. No slap shots are allowed in WHAM leagues, and anyone who engages in unsportsmanlike behavior will be ejected.  Each player will be assigned to a pod of 5-6 skaters that will be combined with another pod of 5-6 skaters. Each pod will play with and against the other pods throughout the season making this league a great way to get to know other players. WHAM will strive to build teams that are roughly equal in their mix of skill levels. Teams and game schedules will be determined after registration and posted on the WHAM website. Each player will need a white jersey and a dark jersey.

This league is limited to 48 players.
